Hi everyone, this is a post to discuss everything manual transmission related on the 1.5t platform. Feel free to ask any transmission related question and feel free to post any information you have about these transmissions. A while ago, I money shifted my si while doing a datalog. It was a 3-2 and my datalog showed a whopping 9800 rpm. Afterwards, the transmission had a loud whine and second gear was very crunchy but also felt soft as if it didnt want to hold in gear. After battling pulling...

Anyone have any experience with the above code?
I have a 2019 with 30k miles. Have taken care of her very well.
seems like it could be anything between an electrical circuit failure to an oil leak triggering it. I’m driving her steady as we speak and don’t feel/see any issues yet. Just gotta get to my destination before I get to a mechanic. Hoping someone has some info or experience on this ..read more

I have a 2021 Civic Sport Hatch Auto, and the little plastic piece that indicates the gear is all scratched up from the dealership. I'm curious about the part number for that plastic piece. I have bad OCD and those scratches annoy the F out of me. Any help would be appreciated ..read more

Hello everyone, I have had several warning lights on in my speedometer since yesterday evening ... they are all from the assistants and there is a white square in the centre of the speedometer with CAM next to it.
I assume it has something to do with the camera of the assistants...
See pictures of the error message and the warning lights
Does anyone know this problem?
Many thanks for any help

I have a 2016 Sport Touring and I was sitting in my car after I got home from work (car was running with AC on low) and all my systems starting “failing” This is the 3rd time this happened but it only told me the break system failed. This time it has hill assist, power steering, emissions, ABS, vehicle stability, and everything else under the sun. From what I’ve heard, it’s common in 2016s and that it’s just a glitch and it needs to be taken to the dealership. But I had only seen that for...

Hi all,
I've done lots of searching but haven't found a great answer in any other threads. Based on other's experience, where is the best location for each of 4 jack stands to support the car when doing an oil change?
For changing tires, I've just lifted the car at each pinch weld and slipped a jack under to work on one wheel at a time. But hoping to find a better location for all four jack stands, that I can trust won't screw me over while working under the car.
Edit: If pinch welds are...
