Had my 03 Honda civic ex coupe BMXA transmission went out a couple weeks ago and swapped in a 02 Honda civic BMXA transmission. Barely test drove it yesterday, and while driving down the street, the check engine light came on for P0730 (Gear Ratio Incorrect). The PRNDL indicator on my dash lights up in park & drive, but not in neutral, d3, or 2. Adding this post to document the rehabilitation of our faithful old 2000 EM1 that we've owned since it was new. It was my Girlfriend's daily driver until late 2007 when she moved onto an '08 Accord. I gave her 8K for its down payment and took over the old SI. It had 78K miles at the time and I proceeded to add another 220K miles of nearly trouble free service as my daily driver. Hello, I made a DIY arm rest for my civic. It came with the one thats connected to the seat and it always felt small. So, I took 6 pieces of thin hard foam from an old couch, cut them up to fit the small pocket beside the handbrake so it can have a snug fit and then I added a metal bracket inside from an old broken lamp to give it support. I glued cut up pieces from an old school copy’s hard cover to give it shape. After that I wrapped it up in cloth from the old couch lol. Came out neat. Hello, 02 civic coupe 1/7 vtec. When vehicle is running the a/c compressor clutch is always engaged. Remove the relay in the fuse box it stops. Relay is good cause you hear it click when you put it back in. I unplug the a/c pressure switch and the a/c clutch disengages and the fan turns off. Any help would be much appreciated.
