My friends at Every Sip asked me to use some of their customer’s beverage products to make a tasty recipe. I chose Cointreau because I love its orange flavor, and it makes a Top Shelf Margarita delightful. I knew a French liqueur would give the traditional French Madeleines a lovely, sophisticated orange flavor.

I am obsessed with chowders lately. I recently made this seafood chowder for my mother-in-law and it was absolutely delicious. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
What is Chowder?
It’s a rich and creamy soup that usually features cream, potatoes and seafood. This seafood chowder features clam juice, chunks of cod, a variety of potatoes, and some vegetables and seasonings.
Seafood Chowder Ingredients
Clam Juice: I chose to use clam juice instead of broth for this soup, and it lends a delicious briny, salty, seafood-y flavor.
Fish: Any mild fish will do, but I used cod. You want to be ..read more

It’s so easy to make your own simple syrup and flavor it with whatever you like. Here I chose to use grapefruit juice and thyme to make a delicious spritz when combined with Cava and St. Germain. Homemade simple syrup will keep for up to a month in the fridge, so you can experiment with other drinks as well.

Focaccia is a type of Italian flatbread that is widely popular and loved for its soft, chewy texture and flavorful toppings. It’s similar to pizza dough but typically thicker and more moist. If you are in a hurry and aren’t great at making dough, you can make delicious spongy focaccia with pre-made dinner rolls seasoned with olive oil, salt, herbs like rosemary or thyme, and sometimes vegetables decorated in little scenes.
Give your creative juices a workout with this one.
