Hello all, so I guess I am hoping for some reassurance here My friend I mentioned who is giving me a piece of green toadstool, Is apparently also bringing my a piece of rainbow acro. This of course makes me nervous as I read about how difficult they can be. I know nothing about SPS at all. Hello, recently I posted a thread in regards to algae ID but was unsuccessful in getting a response, since then my tangs have pretty much cleaned it up except for the coating on the rocks and my conchs have the sand somewhat acceptable. But now for the last couple of weeks I’ve been dealing with cloudy water. I do 15% WC weekly and past week I did 25% but hasn’t changed. Hi all, Hoping someone here could assist with a problem I’m having with my Reefi uno 2.0: Started with a PSU failure. Upon getting new PSU, light reboots over and over again. I sent it back (under warranty) and had the firmware updated/fixed. Light was tested and found to function properly. I get the light back and it’s still rebooting over and over again. I noticed that temperature is running high (over 70degC) so I up fan speed. Temperature is now in 40s but I’m still getting reboots... Read more ..read more

My buddy is cheap. He is currently dosing kalk using the (he wants to do it kind of way) way of Chris Meckley. He uses fully saturated kalk and Jebao doser to dose it. Now he is cheap, and I love my Avast kalkstirrer, but he is too cheap just to buy it. Chris Mackey says to not use a kalkstirrer with this method, but technically he isn’t following it He is basically just dosing kalk to target ph, and not worrying about alkalinity.
