Dometic CFX3-35 fridge / freezer for sale £500. Excellent condition - no scratches or knocks and includes both original charging cables - 1 x 12v and 1 x 3-pin plug. Only 3 years old and has been extremely well looked, sadly have now sold our van, hence sale. Used in a 3-seat bench VW Cali Beach - fits under the 3-seat bench but was also used on a pull out boot tray. A fantastic addition to the Beach set-up, it really is a great fridge (and freezer if you want it!) - with a solar... Read more ..read more

Heater vent pointless?
VW California Owners Club Forum
by flying banana

I've just replaced this heater vent as mine was broke. It's angled down straight at the seat base. What's the reason for this vent? I fitted the new one upside down so the vents now angle slightly upwards in my reasoning that makes more sense, especially for drying gloves socks etc on the seat. Anyone else had this thought and done this ..read more

I have the replacement part 7H7068504A, including a washer, screw and rivet. But the problem is access, and probably requires removing the fridge tub. Has anyone else installed this part before and can share how they did it ..read more

T6 or T6.1 - Am I being thick??
VW California Owners Club Forum

Hi All. I might be having a senior moment but can you explain the difference betwen a T6 and a T6.1 please. Am I right in thinking the T6.1 came in around end of 2019 and is actually the current model? For some reason I had in my head there was something between 2019 and 2021......... I know there were issues with the bellows from about 2021 but is that all? Sorry if it's covered elsewhere as I'm weighing up whether to go for a late T6 or and early (70, 20 or 21 plate) T6.1 ..read more

T6 rusted broken fridge screw fix + part number
VW California Owners Club Forum
by -Goldie-Horn-
11h ago
As many may know the part number for the fridge strut is 7E7067382 which you can get from the VW California Club shop. However, it will not come with the screws/bolts/nuts, which are typically the cause of the fault i.e. they get rusty from the fridge moisture and consequently break. The part number for this is lesser known, it is 7H7098385C. This includes the bits for the end of the fridge strut that attaches to the cupboard as well the bits that attach to the fridge lid. Bought from... Read more ..read more

Long term fix for dodgy control panel knob whilst keeping original knob
VW California Owners Club Forum
by -Goldie-Horn-
11h ago
This is no secret as I'm sure others have done this, but I thought I would post my success with fixing my dodgy control panel button in case it helps someone. One easy option is of course to replace the control panel button with a new original part, but this will eventually develop the same fault i.e. the insides breaking up. Another, also easier, option is a new 3rd party made button, but some of these look very different to the original and may prompt a question from a future prospective... Read more ..read more
