Despite the dealers saying maps can only be updated by them, it can be done yourself. Heres how. Go to Update portal And put your VIN in and continue as below. If it says no updates for VIN or an error just go to the VW site Volkswagen Map Updates And put in Tiguan 2020 for vehicle and Discover PRO for unit and it is the identical file to the Skoda one and you dont need a VIN to get it Go to the AUS/NZ map and download to a HDD. Hey guys. I’m looking to replace my 1998 Seat Cupra GTI with a 2008 Golf (mk5) GT Sport. It’s the 1.4L TSI turbo/supercharged model. I haven’t viewed it yet, but it looks clean and well cared for. The current owner has had it a couple of years and has had it serviced twice in that time. They’ve found the original log book, which I will look over. I have noticed that since last weekend my phone favourites keep reverting to being empty when I connect my phone (Pixel 5) to my Tiguan via bluetooth. I reset it and it lasts maybe a day and then later they are gone again and I need to re-add I have unpaired and "forgotton" the Bluetooth settings for both the car and phone, and yet it still happens.
