Hi All, I am in need of the fitting where the power steering pressure hose attaches to the pump. There are two types of hose ends. One has a flare fitting, the other uses a straight fitting with an o-ring. I need the flare type fitting. I'll buy the whole pump if necessary. I don't care what condition the pump is in, I just need the fitting. Please let me know what you have. Thanks, CobraRGuy ..read more

PPI swap problem

I just completed a PI head swap on my 97GT, stock NPI bottom end. I had a local machine shop do a valve job, install MMR stainless valves, guides and seals, BTR .600 springs. I used new lash adjusters, new timing chains. XE262AH cams that MHS degreed. The engine runs but is down on power. The tuner says the load is about 30% less than it should be. It’s loosing air somewhere. Comparession test shows 180 on all except #2 which is 170. Any ideas ..read more

This is an all new engine built on an aluminum block and has all the best internals including shaft mounted rockers. This 351W is 445CID with 660HP and 600 lb-ft of torque all motor and weighs less than 400lbs. It is truly a beast!. It appears to be... Read more ..read more

Split port info. Pics, links, and more!

Ok so I just completed my split port swap on a 95 3.8. There are several write-ups around the web on how to do the swap and parts that are needed but I found there was always information missing from those. First off let me say that if you only have one vehicle to drive, I really don't recommend trying the swap. Also it's going to cost anywhere from $500 to $1100 for all the parts. More if you are paying someone to install everything. I had access to a parts car to pull a majority of... Read more ..read more

So I just rebuilt the engine and installed bigger cams and I know I need a tune. But I’m breaking in the engine before I take it to get a dyno tune. Meanwhile the thing doesn’t want to idle. Is there anything I can do to help it idle better until I get it tuned ..read more

Question regarding Climate Controls
SN95 Forums

Hello! Just a short question: Is it normal that the air just blows out of the defrost vents and the floor vents when the climate control is set on "mix"? I thought it would maybe blow out the floor and dash vents. When I put it on "vent" it blows out the dash vents normally. Is there no way to make the air blow out of the floor AND dash vents? Thank you ..read more
