Hey guys, new poster here, I'm about ready to send this poor soul to the scrapyard. I've been through 2 tuners who both have run into the same issue. 2001 Mustang, Procharged 3.8, has a BA2600 MAF in a blow through setup with the bypass valve venting to atmosphere. the car runs and tunes beautifully, except for a "sweet spot" at low speed taking off from a stop. What I'm looking for is a vary basic am-fm radio with a cd player. Nothing fancy at all I don't want flashing lights to distract me while driving at night. Just an simple radio. Apparently it's a common problem where the A/C vacuum line melts or dry rots and causes a vacuum leak that prevents your A/C blend door from directing the A/C where you want it. It usually blows up to the defroster ducts. Mine went out last summer towards the end when it was cooling off. I was lazy and decided not to fix it until spring because I wasn't going to be using the A/C anymore anyway. My door panel is getting worn on my 99 Mustang six, where your arm would rest up high, by the window. I was considering whether a good looking patch was made for such a thing - something that would be comfortable and durable. Thought I might do the same on the passengers side. I am seeing repair kits, but they seem more for fabric, and don't look like they would provide a comfortable, durable patch. Put some good fuel cleaner in - ATS - and after a couple of weeks my check engine light came on, 401 code - have tried replacing the two sensors / valves suggested as likely culprits (mechanics out here in San Diego are booked up for weeks) - car runs much better, but still slightly rough idle at times - check engine light still on after some time.
