'16 S550 GTPP, E85 (most of the time). I'm at the point where I'm fuel starving in long left-handers at anything less than 3/4 tank. Its even happening on some concrete autocross courses. I have pretty big aero and sticky tires (315 A052), and it wasn't this bad before the aero. I wondered if something in my nearly 100k mile gas tank and fuel system just needs servicing? First time poster, long time autocrosser out of Austin TX. I've met a few of you in RL but mostly hang out on that other forum. Yeah so my 97800 mile Gen2 (2016 GT PP1) is dead. We'll open it up in a few weeks and see exactly what happened, but right now the theory is the rod knock we heard and seized motor were probably from a spun bearing. Not sure if the oil gears failed or what, but I'm expecting to have to rebuild/replace the crank and a rod at least. Lifters have been making noise... Read more ..read more

I just ordered BMR SPH767 Magneride springs for the rear suspension on my car. Upon removing the factory springs, I noticed that the factory isolators are torn from the sharp ends of the springs. I’ve ordered new factory isolators, but have no idea how long it will take to get them in, as it appears that they aren’t readily available. As of now, the order has an estimated delivery date of May 1-5. I’m looking for alternative quality solutions that are as good or better than the factory... Read more ..read more

Anyone know the weight difference between the fiberglass and carbon fiber versions of the '05-'09 Tiger Racing hoods? Trying to decide on which way to go for a dual-use street and track car. Well I didn't think I would be creating a post like this so soon. Last event was at Road Atlanta in November. During my last session I got flashing CEL. Car continued to run and fine and never went down on power. CHT was never above 238* and oil temp was never in the red. I came home and the car had P0316 and 0308 codes. I thought maybe it was a false alarm but after clearing the codes they came right back. I am still on the original plugs that I bought the car with (35k miles ago) so... Read more ..read more
