Spring upgrade??

My future plans for my 06 Mustang GT involve body part upgrades, new Bumper, side Skirts as well as a rear bumper. However where I live, even lowering the car an inch will cause the future front bumper upgrade to hit & rub in many places. Isn't there any performance springs for a original ride height? If so where can one find them as I have exhaustively searched & found nothing but lowering springs. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help ..read more

I have a 03 ford mustang, I bought it as a project car. Didn’t run when I bought it. Said the fuel pump needed to be changed so I changed it, didn’t work. I then changed the starter, fuses and spark plugs and still nothing. When it tries to turn over it like gargles in a way. I genuinely am lost ..read more

I have a 01 Mustang GT that the battery became drain and would not start one morning. When you put the key in the car does exactly what it is suppose to, but when you pull the key back out the needles of the gauges for the fuel and everything stay like they were and do not go back down. Also, the odometer will show the miles on the car but after taking key out they all go to dashes. Not sure what the deal is, everything had been working fine and have not touched anything electrical in the... 2001 GT dash gauge needles stuck ..read more

67 Mustang - Rear Wheel Centering

Hey everyone, I am making slow but steady progress on my 67 coupe. One thing that has bugged me since buying the car is that the rear axles are not centered in the wheel well and are staggered towards the back of the car. The position is similar on the driver and passenger side. The previous owner had installed a Gbar Total Control suspension system in the back which looks like a pretty nice kit. I tried adjusting the setup over the weekend but did not have much success in altering the... 67 Mustang - Rear Wheel Centering ..read more

So this is my 2000 V6. Original owner, 44,000 miles. Yesterday I discovered a good amount of transmission fluid on the garage floor after driving to my son's house to change the oil. Never seen a leak before this. Did a little research and we found a sopping wet area at the shifter. Not a mechanic but do basic maintenance. What does this look like? Gasket?? or something else. This is the only area where we found fluid. It was clearing coming from this area. No fluid anywhere else... Transmission Fluid Leak at Shifter ..read more

Manual steering vs power steering parts

Hello all, What is the difference between the manual steering idler arm, and the power steering one? ('67 coupe) Is there a geometry difference, or perhaps difference in the diameter of the hole for the connection to the drag link? I'm assuming there must be some difference given there are MS and PS ones for sale. The differences are not mentioned in the description of the ones I've looked at I'm going to remove the factory power steering and convert to manual, potentially converting to... Mustang Trunk Striker Replacement

I am not a mechanic so forgive the improper terminology. The striker plate came off in the trunk of our 2006 Mustang GT. The pictures attached show the holes in the trunk where it attaches and the perfectly round metal pieces where the screw once held the striker plate in place. The mechanic says I need to find someone to weld it back on. Is there another solution? I can't find anything online to help ..read more

High Beam Selector not working

Hi everyone! Very recently my high beam selector stopped working on my 2019 pp1. I can no longer flash or change my high beam mode (active vs always on. The car is stuck in auto highbeam (luckily) and the selector stock is nonresponsive. Auto mode does allow both beams to trigger, but I'd like to be able to manually flash the lights too. I know there are two fuse boxes, and have watched some YouTube videos related to my issue but to no avail with identifying a dead fuse (not to say there... High Beam Selector not working ..read more
