I have an epson ec 4020 printer and I'm a bit confused about something. According to the manual, there are quite a few compatible epson papers, but there are limits on what can be used. I'd like to find some single sided and double side photo matte paper to print pictures on that will be stored in either a folder or turned into a booklet, but the list is very limited on matte paper options. I recently bought this label printer for mostly pro audio hardware and cable labeling. Im finding it now very disappointing in respect to availability or discontinuation of various types and sizes of labels for my specific needs. Seems they’ve discontinued a few of the smaller sizes for their “flexible id” labels like, 6 and 9mm. Same goes for “white on clear” flexible id. I received a refurbished printer after about 6 months or so of a new printer, only to have this printer not work either. It is likely the ink pump (and maintenance box issue because of this?) To get it looked at I have to crate it, ship it to another state, and pay out of pocket.
