This morning Kaspersky alerted me that a program with limited permissions was trying to run a program.
I blocked it from running because I can't figure out what it is.
I've searched everywhere & have been unable to find anything at all on this program.
Nothing in the properties match up with each other (that I've been able to find).
What do the TG Gurus think?
Edit: I forgot to mention, the name of the folder containing this app is called "Slgerpantebreve" and it's located in AppData\Roaming ..read more

Hello,
I have been using McAfee Anti virus for a long while now but I've found out that they discontinued it when I came to renew.
So I am looking for an equivalent anti virus product that can run on my laptop and run silently in the background without hogging 'pc usage' (e.g 100% cpu usage !!!)
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20 GHz
Inspiron 15 (3000 Series)
RAM 8.00 GB
System Windows 10 Home (64-bit operating system, x64-based processor)
version 21H2
Harddrive 1TB
thanks ..read more

Hey everyone, so I decided to delete some old Yahoo email accounts I don't use anymore, for my own privacy and security. What I'm wondering is, if anyone knows, when the 30 day deactivation period (in the USA) passes and the Yahoo accounts are permanently deleted, along with the email accounts they contain, will the deletion include all related data and information associated with the Yahoo email accounts including:
* Associated phone number
* Any and all public IPs ever to have been associated with the Yahoo and Yahoo email accounts
* Any and all records of past account activities, including ..read more

Can I get a VPN that doesn't get rejected by Google accounts? I mean a VPN that won't be recognized by Google so Google won't ask me for my phone number? I am not going to tell them my phone number. And, Google does not accept any virtual phone numbers. Google always requires a phone number if VPN is used to open or/and using a Google Account later. So, can I get a constant/steady/stable/fixed/settled VPN that won't be recognized by Google ..read more

My desktop computer and laptop computer are configured the same to best of my knowledge. On the desktop, which is connected to our home network via ethernet, we do not need to use TFA (two factor authentication) to log into Yahoo / AOL and a couple other sites. On the laptop, which is connected via WiFi5, always ask for a code either via a cell phone or another email address. Why ..read more

I've been using password managers for some time. I've used Dashlane, 1Password, and now LastPass. Likewise, I find them all lacking in being user-friendly. I am looking for a simple-to-use and understood management program. That supports Firefox, which is my primary browser. I also want a program that is security-driven. I've spent most of the day watching videos and searching the web for recommendations. I see that 1Passwod is favored by many. But so is Dashlane, NordPass, Roboform, and Keeper. I am considering trying Keeper and maybe one of the others I have not tried over the years.
Can any ..read more
