Anybody ever have the heat or a/C on and maybe 1 minute in the fan just shuts off. Then it will start running again a couple minutes later but only last for a minute. Then to top things off if you change the temperature the left side blows cold for a/C but right side blows hot air for a/C. 2012 wk2 limited ..read more

I have a 2014 WK2 5.7 Overland which has been going well for a good while but all good things come to an end. I now have a message Service Four Wheel Drive System in the message board and an warning message ACC/FCW Unavailable Service Required. I put my fairly limited scanner on and no errors came up. Hello friends, I have a jeep grand cherokee 2015 3.0 ecodiesel, I couldn't find anywhere what should be the normal temperature of the coolant on my car when standing in traffic or going uphill, the pointer goes to the middle of the gauge, which according to the scanner is about 105 degrees, and at this time the cooling fan comes down to 98 degrees again, I wonder about this It is considered normal if there is a high temperature. I also wonder at what temperature the cooling webtilator... Normal coolant temperature jeep grand cherokee 2015 3.0 ecodiesel ..read more

Diff fluid test results at 30K miles

Since I tow on a fairly frequent basis I decided to change the diff fluid (rear only) at 30K miles instead of at the 60K mark for normal use. I thought it might also be a good idea to have the fluid tested by Blackstone Labs and I was a little surprised by the results. Based on their conclusions I'm definitely going to keep up the 30K interval for the rear and I'm halfway tempted to do the front now and see how it looks, even though the front doesn't get near the duty as the rear. I'm... Diff fluid test results at 30K miles ..read more

GC 2014 Limited 3.0 Diesel oil leak

I had a service done by Jeep 6 months ago and they told me I had a catastrophic oil leak via my upper sump and quoted me $8,000 to fix it. I hadn’t seen any oil at this point and upon removing the bash plates, there wasn’t any oil on them, So I left it. no oil drips for 6 months, oil levels were fine. last week I had a minor coolant leak and I was due for a service again anyway so I got it done at an independent garage. When the car came back… it was leaking oil. the garage couldn’t find... GC 2014 Limited 3.0 Diesel oil leak ..read more

2005 Grand Cherokee 3.7L Gauge Cluster

My menu screen (LED readout in the lower portion of the RPM gauge) is extremely dim. The odometer screen (reader under the MPH) is fine, as is everything else. 1. Is is possible to replace only the little LED screen, or would I need to replace the entire gauge cluster? 2. Is a replacement gauge cluster plug-and-play, or would I need to have it "matched" to my vehicle? I've gotten conflicting intel on where the mileage data is stored. Some say it's in the gauge cluster, which would mean... 2005 Grand Cherokee 3.7L Gauge Cluster ..read more
