Some words of wisdom for anyone lucky enough to find their Cayenne (or really any VW group SUV) starts flashing the parking lights when attempting to lock and arm the alarm, learned the hard way. The videos make it seem like it is a quick and easy job to replace the module. Hi, I'm looking to purchase my first porsche. Its a 2014 cayman S, 6spd manual with all the right options (PTV, X73, sport chrono) and a bunch of extra suspension parts. The seller owned the car for a long time and seems to have taken care of it. He says it has been tracked 12 times. and he sent me an overrev report. While I wait for my Softronic flashing device, I decided to investigate why the exhaust on my 987.1 2.7L Cayman sounded like it did: moderately loud, stock-looking, with burbles on deceleration and a drone between 2700-3000 RPM. I could not find anything interesting when peeking at the exhaust and headers, but noticed that the driver side catalytic converter has what seems like a weld (left image).
