I had the 2024.8.4 update a few days ago.
So as you do, you test the new matrix lights. I was impressed.
I live in a village, so not yet driven in towns, but after the software install, the option was already selected. I had previously had auto high beam selected, which overall I thought worked well.
So I started off and drove down the road which has hardly any streetlights. Main beam came on very quickly and stayed on almost the entire 9 mile drive around the block. No oncoming cars...

Since this week's software update to v2024.8.4 the car does not sleep, even at home with Sentry off etc.
According to TeslaFi, it is constantly Idling - screenshot.
I've tried rebooting it but that made no difference.
The Tesla app won't allow me to schedule a service as, once I describe the fault, and attach the screenshot, it automatically runs diagnostics and says there is no fault - and removes the service request ..read more

I ordered a "highland"Model 3 from the Dartford service center which is was a good experience to my supprise
I had to pick up from Bluewater expecting the same level of Quality. The cars are parked in a fenced off area of the yellow
car park near the superchargers. The office was a Porta cabin out side with no signs or Banners and a pallet was used a
step to get in.I have been to some dodgy car dealers in my time but I dont expect it when you are putting down over
£40,000 for a car. I...

I guess there's not a huge market for alloys these days (all cars seem to have them now), but the thought of parking up somewhere a little dodgy and finding the car on bricks being stuck is not very appealing.
Yes I know they can be taken off in minutes with some readily available tools you can buy easily. But hopefully they might then go to the next car?!
Did you bother with yours? If so, any after market brands do them?

Hi all,
Now I realise that many on here have lease or PCP vehicles so will not be able to modify them.
However, I own my car outright. I am looking into improving the jarring ride of my 2021 Model 3 Long Range. First of all, it’s not that dissimilar to our 2020 Soul EV which errs on the sporty side of comfort, unlike my ZS EV from 2019 where I helped develop a set of Bilstein dampers to improve the ride as it was simply, awful.
Back to the Model 3. Around town the ride is not great. I try...

So after 8 months or so I've finally snapped. I have got to sort the noisy rear seats.
First up, has anybody tried to resolve the generally squeaky and rattly rear seats, they've kinda been like this since new but def got a little worse - they are way quieter when occupied, but I can't afford to pay a couple of people to spend their lives sitting in my rear seats. Also seem better when I fold the seats forward.
So is it just something simple like spraying the support mounts with some...

Ive been getting used to the car since collecting it on Wednesday but can’t for the life in me get the radio to work - other media works fine.
When I press the radio icon there is nothing listed and the spinning circle in the bottom right over the screen just keeps spinning as if it is searching but can’t find anything. Any ideas ..read more

I tried to charge my Kona at Trentham s/c but the credit card rejected my postcode so I had to abandon it. Help please! with and without a space.

No longer showing as under maintenance and hence should be back in the loop for inclusion in the navigation algorithm.
36 stalls - is this the biggest SC hub in the UK now?
Helpfully decent facilities too.
Also I see Frankly now has 16 x 250kwh Southbound. Tesla is cracking on for sure ..read more

Picked up my late 2020 LR AWD in white about 6 weeks ago. Had always had a thing for the Model 3, especially in white! I’d been keeping my eye on the prices falling over the last last 6 months, so over the Christmas period I did the ‘man-maths’, deciding that I could afford to go for it.
Went for a refresh model as I wanted power boot, heat pump, black trim, redesigned centre console and all the other little improvements that had been made. Only thing I missed out on was heated steering...
