I just purchased Knights of the Old Republic today, since this game has received pretty good press, in addition to the fact that a co-worker highly recommended the game. While adjusting the video options in the game, I noticed that the "Soft Shadows" setting presented as a non-adjustable option. I adjusted some other settings, as I surmised that this option conflicted with another video option.
After failing to enable this option successfully, I finally consulted the troubleshooting...

Is there any information about how the CTG Engine is coded for Saint Row the 3rd? I've been hold out on buying this game because of the low frame rate people have been reporting over on the forum.
Original thread.
I did some digging around and found this video showing a tech demo of the game. I also found out this information about CTG regarding who developed it and why (it appears to have been intended for MMO).
But I still haven't found out any information...

Now, that's something original and yet simplistic. Q.U.B.E. is a first-person puzzle game, where you have to progress through the levels by solving elaborate tasks to unlock the next stage. The design is stylish and clean, and bears some traits from Portal, but this title brings a lot of innovation by itself.

That's it, guys. The mythical game which rivaled Age of Empires in my AoE days, and that I sadly never tried back in the day although I really wanted to. The guy who created the game is one of the original programmers of the first Age of Empires.

This offer is only available until December 14th, that's to say tomorrow. It's the deadline to download it but you can play it as much as you...

I bought a cheap Crysis 2 Origin key on Ebay ($25) months ago and that worked for me. Didn't give money directly to EA. The gameplay was somewhat meh and I've not finished it so I'm glad I got it cheapish.
My main problem with Origin is that it is named after a favorite game developer which EA destroyed. Not that most of the current day game kids have any idea about that.
