I have severe hearing loss and i have the More1 and Real1 aids both sets have greatly improved my speech understanding. I am looking forward to getting the INTENT1 aids in about 6 weeks. For me I wasn’t expecting the improvement I got from the More1 to Real1 aids. My VA audiologist believes that I will see even greater improvement with the INTENT1 aids. Yeah very subjective opinions with asking this, your not happy with Costco service/ products then I guess you won’t be happy anywhere else, the only person who can tell which is “best” is you, no-one else can possibly do that, so you need to trial models to see which works best for you, any of the sites mentioned you’d need to take them with a pinch of salt, but there’s plenty of “real world” reviews from right here on hearingtracker, choose a brand/model and use the search button and see what “real” people are saying ..read more

As far as I know, there is no Environmental Optimizer with the Jabra HA system. Also, so far my Costco HA guys have resisted giving me any remote control, so I will have to go in to have anything loaded. Your point is well taken. There is no reason why these options could not be downloaded and installed remotely. As a result of my negative interactions with Costco coupled with my 10 months of experience with the Jabra HAs, I would rate my overall HA experience as a 5 out of 10.
