Day 2 Targets

Okay, yesterday was disappointing. I hope I am wrong, but I am moving on. There are still A LOT of prospects that would be A+ prospects at this point. 1. Jackson Powers-Johnson, C Oregon - Not much to say here. He clearly would be universally lauded amongst fans. 2. Cooper DeJean, CB/S Iowa - I had us selecting him in the first round. He is a Swiss Army knife and could be used all over the secondary. Baltimore used a lot of 3 safety sets, so he could be our Kyle Hamilton. 3.... Day 2 Targets ..read more

Dolphins looked to move up in the late 1st round

The Dolphins didn’t make a trade during the first round of the draft on Thursday night, but it wasn’t because of a lack of interest in a move. General Manager Chris Grier tabbed edge rusher Chop Robinson with the 21st overall pick and he told reporters a little while later that he didn’t shut his phone off at that point. “We were sitting there, there were a couple players at the end we were excited for, so we were active even trying to get back in to get another one here in the late... I thought I would just share a few brief thoughts before the big day: 2024 NFL Mock Draft Here are the rules that I have placed upon myself. I do not forecast trades in the mock draft because things will quickly get out of hand. In a highly unpredictable setting, I choose to deal with certainties and not uncertainties. I have made my picks based on whom I think each team will take - not who they should take. I have also taken the liberty to grade the pick based on a multitude of different... My Mock ..read more

A lot of people questioned if Tyreek Hill would work in Miami because of concerns with Tua's deep accuracy but in his first year in Miami, on passes thrown 15+ yards, Tyreek posted: career-best catch rate career-high receptions career-high success rate that should have quieted the critics but it did not so then last year, Tyreek bested all of his career-highs on deep receptions YET AGAIN! career-best catch rate career-high receptions career-high success rate back-to-back seasons with... Linebacker Mike Kolen, who was a starter on defense for back-to-back Dolphins Super Bowl champs, has died. Kolen’s alma mater Auburn University announced that he died on April 3. Kolen was 76 years old. The Dolphins drafted Kolen in the 12th round of the 1970 draft and he was a regular in the starting lineup through the 1975 season. That run included the Dolphins’ perfect 1972 season, which Kolen helped keep intact with an interception of Terry Bradshaw in the final moments of the AFC... Mike Kolen - dead at 76 ..read more

Hot Take - OL Prospects

I think that it is no secret that the Dolphins' o-line is a work in progress, and there is a very real possibility that this position could be addressed early on in the draft process. It goes without saying that just about everyone on this board would be ecstatic with Jackson Powers-Johnson. That being said, I would not be surprised if they had a prospect ahead of him. I really would not be surprised at all if that prospect was Graham Barton from Duke. I really think that Mikey tends... Hot Take - OL Prospects ..read more
