This time last week, the Texas men's basketball team was coming off of a pair of embarrassments -- a blown lead against UCF and a Horns Down meltdown from head coach Rodney Terry. How did they respond? A pair of ranked wins, including one on the road against No. 11 Oklahoma to move out of the basement of the conference and directly into the NCAA Tournament conversation. Before the wins over No. 9 Baylor and the Sooners, Texas appeared to be on the outside looking in and in peril of a disastrous season. With two wins, it seems like their fortunes and the narrative of the season may have turned ..read more

Coming off of the most successful season this side of 2009, the Texas Longhorns and Chris Del Conte extended head coach Steve Sarkisian's contract another four years through the 2030 season. While the contract details have yet to be released, it's safe to assume that Sarkisian is getting a sizeable raise, with Texas getting Sark's services for a relative discount -- as the third-best paid coach in the Big 12. For context, if Sarkisian was in the SEC for the 2023 season, he would have been No. 13 in the conference, just behind Eli Drinkwitz of Missouri. Connect with the show on  ..read more

The No. 3 Texas Longhorns did what they needed to to in Arlington, putting together a lopsided win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys and proving their place among the four best teams in college football. Quinn Ewers and the offense were electric from the start, while the defense continued the standard of excellence we've come to expect from that group all year. The difference between this game and many others was the Longhorns' ability to close out their opponent. Now, despite some controversy, the Longhorns are headed to their first-ever CFP to square off against another familiar foe -- the Was ..read more
