Let’s build on the momentum from Pittsburgh,Can we get some other cars to register,we’re 2 /1/2 weeks out. We have our own group, which took a lot of effort,so please consider coming out.So far there is only 1 FA,so we basically have our own group. We need to show support so we can hopefully get our own group at the sprints and future events. Hope to see you there Tim MinorFc88:greenflag ..read more

2024 June Sprints

Looks like there's going to be a good turnout once again in the FA class at the June Sprints this year! With 15 already registered, it's at roughly double the highest FA entry of any Super Tour event thus far this season -- just two days into the registration window -- and five higher than the highest FA entry at any 2024 Majors race! Some of the "usual suspects" aren't even signed up yet, nor are any PFMs, either. Jeff ..read more

1997 Formula Mazda - 2x Formula Car Challenge champion

Time to finally let this one go! I raced it from 2009 to 2014 and won two Formula Car Challenge championships, then continued to run and maintain it for its current owner from 2014 up to now with many podium finishes. It's a 1997 chassis that's been well taken care of and never went too long sitting unused. The engine was rebuilt and sealed in the 2014/2015 off-season and has 6-7 full race seasons on it. I checked the compression on it about a year and a half ago and turned up with 111/112/112 PSI and 105/107/110 PSI on the rotors. It's only run about 5 or 6 days on track since then. Ugh. So much stuff....... Let's start with the big stuff. I have a completely fresh BDA head, new guides and seats. No valves or buckets, have some new shims. This head was prepped 15 years ago when I had my FA but never put on a block - there's a backstory here. To be honest, I forgot I had it. Comes with intakes, cam pulleys, cam carrier with cams (this is fresh off a motor, so not particularly clean BUT was on a decent mill in the day). Proper 2 vent front cover. A couple of idler pulleys too. As I was digging all of this out, I came across a lovely set of prepped BDA rods as well. More sm ..read more
