In a move that just makes sense, a portion of what was known as the Road to Indy Series has been renamed the USF Pro Championships, presented by Cooper Tires. We rename and rebrand. 3 Reasons. Control, Money and Tires. #1. Control No one entity controls the entire Road to Indy as of 2022. With Indy Lights and the other 2 series (USF 2000 and Indy Pro 2000) being run by different organizations. The rebranding in my opinion is a protective move by Andersen Promotion #2 ) Money - Again, the promoters of the series have to compete for teams and drivers and have to protect what they have built. whi ..read more

His experiences as a driver and as an African American in the IndyCar Series. Like many drivers, George Mack started in Go-Karting with his Father in California. With his success, he moved up the ranks until he found himself racing in Europe. With the creation of the Indy Racing League, George Mack secured a ride on the IndyCar Series with an underfunded team and competed in the 2002 season, running the oval only series. George Mack is the highest finishing African American driver in the Indy 500 to date, finishing 17th in 2002. He and Willy T. Ribbs hold they distinction of being the ..read more

I had the pleasure of catching up with Sabré Cook just before she jetted off to England for the pre-season obligations that she has for the upcoming 2020 W-Series. One thing that I constantly marvel at with regard to these up and coming racers is the way that they have to juggle their racing careers with their other obligations, whether it be working, school, or in the case of Sabré, competing on two series all over the world.  Sabré Cook is set to compete in six events in the Indy Pro 2000 Series on the Road to Indy. Cook will see action March 12-14 on the Streets of St ..read more

Carter Pease ended 2019 on a high note. He finished second in the Lucas Oil School of Racing Shootout in Sebring and by doing so he knew what he would be doing in 2020. Well, he knew what he would be doing for half of the season. Due to his finish in the shootout, Carter earned a scholarship to compete in half of the race weekends on the upcoming 2020 Lucas Oil Formula Car Series. So how does a recent college graduate fund the rest of the season? What I have found out by talking to Carter is that it is not his plan to do anything halfway. We talk about this and much more in this epi ..read more

How about claiming a podium finish in the 1st race of 2020 in the IMSA Prototype Challenge at Daytona International Raceway. I had the pleasure of catching up with Dakota Dickerson, 2015 Team USA Scholarship winner, to discuss his great start to 2020 and his Indy Dreams. I sat down with F3 Driver Kent Vaccaro prior to his trip to Sebring where he competed in the 2020 Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour in the Formula Atlantic / F3 class. Kent took the victory on Saturday after capturing the fast time during qualifications. He was not able to compete Sunday because he has to get back to school to take his finals. As with a number of young drivers that dream of racing professionally at some point, Kent juggles the demands of school, racing, practice, sponsorship and life. We talk about this during the episode and get to know Kent better as he approaches the ..read more
