ID: Red dwarf honeybee One of the most common honeybee spotted in the society's garden, this tiny colony of bees seem to frequent a particular wet patch of the garden area, and many can be seen quenching their thirst from the moist soil. While surrounded by small blades of grass, these were observed getting off onto the tips of them, traversing to the base and eventually walk upto the tip to fly off, almost like a series of flights lining up at the runway. Location: Thane EXIF: Canon 80D Canon 100mm macro F/8 Shutterspeed 1/320 ISO 500 Handheld, External flash fired Attached Images   ..read more

I, myself have been approaching them for years, to frame them with the urban noise, eventually after long long wait, managed to get them framed(again). In other seasons, the whole foliage is cover with ..read more

Canon 1500D + Sigma 150-600mm PP in Adobe Lightroom. Exif:- 1/250, ISO 1600, F 7.1, 600mm. Handheld. Clicked on 24th April, 2023 at Tadoba Tiger Reserve. After many trips to Tadoba with almost no tiger sightings, we decided to try your luck once more. What a trip it was sighting tigers in all safaris except one, in which we sighted a black panther and this sloth bear. This Sloth bear was very shy and came forward very carefully to drink water and left immediately after taking a glance at us. Attached Images   ..read more
