Once you decide that you want to teach English overseas, do not be in a rush to accept the first job and especially the first contract someone offers you. Doing so will get you placed in a low-paying job that others don’t want. Do your homework and spend at least an hour researching the location, reputation, and compensation packages of the various schools (over 5,000 in the world that hire Art, IB, Subject, AP, and TEFL teachers).
