Hi all. Going to be replacing some carpet tiles. The tiles are going on to a vinyl sub floor which had carpet tiles fitted with eco bond tackifier. The floor has since had either many more layers of tackifier or possibly spray glue and other adhesives. The sub floor is now covered in old sticky adhesive and patches of carpet tile backing. Any advice for cleaning or possibly an underlay to cover the mess underneath. Or am I ok to just floor scrape and apply tackifier, providing the surface... Carpet tile preparations ..read more
