These days I tend to sleeve all of my games because I hate it when I have just a card or two that has marks on the back which makes them identifiable (although I guess if your cards weren't sleeved then they'd all get wear and tear and then wouldn't be identifiable, does anyone who doesn't sleeve find that to be the case?).
I saw this video online where the shuffling is so gentle that I imagine it wouldn't damage sleeveless cards:

So it made me wonder if the above shuffling method (or other methods) might keep sleeveless cards ..read more

Okay, so technically, Tom was soliciting for anyone interested in making short videos to introduce each number in an upcoming Dice Tower "Top 100" video, and I volunteered. ?
I got "#84" which went live today! (Here's the link for anyone interested. I introduce #84 right around 41:27)
Unfortunately, I made my video around a running Mike Dilisio joke that I thought would get a laugh out of Tom and Zee, not knowing that this Top 100 would be hosted by Wendy, Jason, and Roy... ?? But hey, as a Dice Tower fan and a small youtube channel, it was SUPER COOL to see myself and the Bo ..read more

Ok, limited it to the ones on the list to see how the specific dungeon crawlers (or their series stack up in people's minds)
Granted there are a lot more quality dungeon crawlers out there, but curious to see which one out of this group is your fav ..read more

McNeill is an accomplished writer for Warhammer already and it’s clear from this book that he cares deeply about the world of Arkham Horror as well. I got a bunch of Arkham Horror books one day on discount. This one comes with an ally card promotion for 2nd edition Arkham Horror that was sadly no longer honoured when I inquired about it. I was kind of blown away by this book. The first in a trilogy. I have the other two as well. I also Sign of Glaaki and Feeders from Within from different authors but they weren’t as good as this one. Those were stand alone novels.
I also really ..read more

Hello.
I am looking for rules in english.
There are 7 game combinations. I have rules for 5 of them. I am missing Century From East to West part I and II.
As i understand it, From East to West is a combination of Century Spice road and A New World, and, respectively, of Eastern Wonders and A New World.
Can someone please help me?
Thanks ..read more

I have a friend who loves to try and play board games with my group but they are legally blind (in a way glasses cannot correct) and strategic war games have been somewhat off the table for them. They love playing games with us but I feel they are a lot more isolated when we play competitive games as opposed to role playing/story based games.
My idea is to mount a camera to the ceiling that streams the game to a tablet my friend can control so they can zoom in wherever they want on the board as they please. I noticed a lot of you-tubers have camera setups like what I need but idk w ..read more

I was looking at the new games release schedule at origins and noticed almost 90% of the games take under 1 hour to play.
For me that is way to short of a game to enjoy. Not saying the game is bad, it is not what I desire in a board game.
Maybe Iam the strange guy who wanders the BBG con room and cant find a game that will last 3-5 hours.
Now, this question I pose is strictly up to how you like to play a game in terms of time. What are your thoughts ..read more

Hey, game geeks!
Want to talk about my favorite hexahedron here, the D3-1, or as most of you probably know it, "that strange die from Betrayal at House on the Hill". Still in search of a better name for it, but as far as die naming conventions go, "D3-1" is still technically accurate, so we'll go with that.
What is the D3-1? It's a six-sided die, the "standard" D6, with two blank faces, two faces with one pip, and two faces with two pips. In short, it creates an even distribution of 0, 1, and 2. This is not the same as the die from Small World, which has 3 blanks, 2 ones ..read more

Hello,
This is not important, but does anyone have any facts about gaming that they want to share? This could be boards games, video games, RPG, TCG, it doesn't really matter as long as it's about gaming.
For example, the art for Wingspan was done by only 2 people! I has always assumed it was kind of like parks and had over 50 artists but nope; just 2.
Good luck finding facts ..read more
