Set of custom BC Forged wheels. These have just under 1500 miles on them and were very pampered miles as can be seen from the condition of the tires. All tires have 9/32nd left, which is what they come from factory, so little brand new. These also come with brand new TPM sensors. All in this was over $7k+ Asking $5k OBO, prefer local pickup but will ship at buyers expense. I have included a picture of what they look like on the car ..read more

HD Tuning

Just purchased a factory new '23 R8 V10 Performance RWD. I was recommended the stage one tune through HD tuning through a professional affiliation through Vorsteiner. Apparently these guys are the real deal and do custom tunes based on the driver. Instead of just reselling cookie cutter tuning files, they do full custom, and apparently have a flawless track record. They are not super high profile because they typically work directly with dealers, not individuals. Anyway, I am set to meet... HD Tuning ..read more

Contemplating the purchase of a 2014 Audi R8, looking for tips as a first-time buyer.

Greetings, forum friends! Recently came across an offer for a used 2014 Audi R8 , priced at $101,999 with just 15,500 miles. Seems like a good deal, but as a newcomer to the car-buying scene, I could use some guidance. Any red flags I should be aware of? Is the price fair for a vehicle of this model year? Concerned about its future resale value—any insights? Also, what should I prioritize during the inspection process? Considering bringing in a mechanic for a second opinion—good idea... Ok, so I found a set of OEM silver 19's to put on my silver 2010 and thought it would be easy to just get OE TPMS sensors to put in the new tires I am getting for the silver set and be able to swap back and forth from the gunmetal ones I have on currently to change up the look once in awhile....but now as I start digging around for what sensors to get I read - Audi R8 (coupe, spyder); 2008 - 2010 *Note: This TPMS relearn on this model is available at the dealer only. so I called... MkII Audi TT Carbon Mirror upgrade for Gen1

I had been looking for a set of carbon mirror housings for ages. @R8-Stuff Osman came through for me as he usually does! 1 - THESE ARE NOT CHEAP. They are however a perfect match to my carbon sideblades so for me it was worth the upgrade to have matching sides and mirrors. 2- The replacement process is not terrible. You need to be patient. Tools required are minimal. Skills - well again, a one man show with zero timeline to accomplish.... this is for you! 3- OEM OEM... MkII Audi TT Carbon Mirror upgrade for Gen1 ..read more

I am selling a gently used OEM R8 car cover. I know it will fit a Gen 1 coupe or Spyder. It may also fit a Gen 2 (but that is up to you to investigate). It is in great shape and has no rips or tears. It includes a black OEM storage bag as well (not pictured, but I can add a photo if required). Asking price is $400 USD or $550 CAD. Local pickup is preferred (Toronto, Canada area), but willing to ship within North America at buyer's expense. Thanks, Ian ..read more

Honeycomb Grill Protection

I have the '23 V10 Performance RWD and it comes with a massive honeycomb grill in the front. PPF installer said they will not even attempt PPF on such a structure due to the inconsistent nature of the honeycomb. They said it's possible to do a spray on PPF, but those are really intended more for track days as they tend to peel off very easily, so are really more of a short term solution. Considering how the grill is relatively inexpensive compared to replacing, say the hood, is it worthwhile... Honeycomb Grill Protection ..read more

Performance Edition Models in UK - No Magride

So in the UK all the Performance Edition run-off models of the R8 have completely ditched magride and replaced it with; "Audi Sport Suspension" I'm guessing that's a fixed damper setup - anyone else got it and is it a lot firmer than the magride suspension when sport mode isn't turned on? UK roads are a bit messed up at the moment and adaptive dampers normally take the sting out of them. Apart from that there's an option for 83l tanks vs the 73 litres that comes standard - car I'm...
