I need to get four wheel alignment done on my A6 Avant as the front tyres have been wearing unevenly on the inside since I bought the car (approved used) a few months ago. Planning to change the front tyres soon anyway so I obviously want to get the alignment sorted before putting new tyres on. I have a 2018 A6 Avant S-Line (C8) and one of the lower front bumper inserts is cracked. Does anyone know how to remove it without having to remove the bumper? Hoping to just order a replacement online and fit it myself but don't really want to have to take off the bumper etc. I've tried pulling it but can't see where the clips are. Love the dipping/dimming/folding mirrors. S-tronic seems smoother. Exhaust sounds is a bit more civilised. No pops/farts, more of a whoomph and burble, doesn't bother me though. Hi, I had a plinking sound when hitting little hard spots in the road so I've refreshed things over the years. I recently thought Ill try with the engine on to turn the wheel left and right at a quick rate and instantly felt play so I thought it could possibly be the inner right tie rod. It felt like a click no matter where the wheels are turned to if I rock the wheel I get a notch feeling. So I replaced both front inner tie rods, and outer track rods and the noise is still there. Hi All, I have a 2007 Audi A3 2.0 TDI and I have recently had to replace the throttle body. Since doing so, the car looses power when accelerating in a sort of shuddering fashion, and there is also plumes of black smoke coming from the exhaust. After doing some investigating, I think I might have caused a vacuum leak when i replaced the throttle body. Hi guys, hope I've posted in the correct section. I have a problem with my A6. I'm getting a violent judder. Only happens when I release the throttle around 70mph, then depress the throttle again immediately. Almost feels like it drops a cylinder or 2 for a second or so. Apart from at this speed, it runs and drives very smooth, with no smoke or misfire. Anyone had this fault, or can give any advice on what the potential issue could be?
