Hello folks,
I am utterly new to investing so please bear with me if my doubts sound too naive.
I heard about Bajaj Housing Finance IPO yesterday and was just looking at its financials on Screener.
It seems to have a significant amount of debt of around 73000 Crores but it seems to be generating profits steadily.
Would this be a good place to invest ? What would you recommend ?

when he said valuation and earnings are 2 factors driving the investment return. If entered on
very high valuation, you may be riding on only one leg of future earnings and what if earning goes down or industry face headwinds…

I read that one of the important aspects of a company is its top level management. But it’s very difficult to analyse the management as it is not a quantitative analysis but a qualitative one.Still, there may be some metrics which will give an idea about the management. What would be those?
I have watched some videos on YT and the main thing almost all videos are saying is about salary of top management and how aggressive the management is.Its easy to get details of the salary from the balance sheet. But, how to analyse the aggressiveness of the management?
I know its a vague topic and there is ..read more

In the recent years, capacity utilization of coal based thermal plant has witnessed sizeable improvement owing to sharp increase in peak power demand and less than envisaged renewable generation.
The Power sector is governed by Centr ..read more

Hi Everyone,
I’m relatively new to investing, having started during college with a few thousand dollars. Now that I have a larger amount to invest, I currently have only around 20% of my funds in the market and 80% cash in bank account.
While I considered going all in with a lump sum, I decided against it due to the current market conditions. I also tend to have a shorter investment horizon, typically holding stocks for 1 to 5 years rather than the long-term 6-10 years approach.
Over the last two years, I haven’t sold much, and most of my current portfolio has been built within the last 6-7 mo ..read more
