Round 1 of the 2024 Tour¬ing Car Masters series was held recently at Mt Panorama, Bathurst as one of the support categories for the Repco Supercar champion-ship. With repairs on the Multispares Torana being held up over Christmas, the team only got the Torana back 10 days before Bathurst. The crew worked long hours and got the Torana prepped and ready. Ryan Hansford has finished 2nd overall to Steven Johnson in the 2023 Touring Car Masters series after a thrilling final round in Adelaide. The series has come down to the last round for the past 4 seasons. Ryan has finished 2nd three times and won the title in 2022. The 2023 Touring Car Masters series heads to The Bend in South Australia this weekend for round 4 of the championship. This is the first visit to the track for the TCM series and whilst a couple of the drivers have driven there in other cars, it will be the first time for Ryan. The final 3 rounds also include Bathurst and the Adelaide Street circuit. This weekend there are 19 TCM cars and with the NZ TCM cars joining the series for the last two rounds that will swell to nearly 30 cars on the grid. Round 3 of the 2023 Touring Car Masters series was held at Winton Motor Raceway in Benalla, central Victoria. Ryan Hansford arrived hoping to claw back points from runaway leader Steve Johnson. As always, practice was first up on Friday morning and Ryan was comfortably 3rd, reporting all was well with the Torana.
