I have studied Arabic literature for three years, and the man I love is majoring in it, so I could say that I know it pretty well (No problems with the language since it's my native). I talked to a few European and American friends about great poets, writers and philosophers, but nobody knew them.

Guys, I'd decide to start this thread telling a sad story (but with a happy final).
Last month, Roseana Murray, Brazilian writer who writes for children and young adults, especialy poems, was attacked by three abandoned pit bulls (American Bull Terrier), a common dog race in Brazil used for guarding or by people without any kind of sense (in fact, many people who liked to get noticed).
She was attacked and, unfortunately, lost one of her arms and ripped off one of her ear.

100 years of solitude was one of my first meeting with serious literature and i loved it,maybe it was before the oprah thing,a long time ago aniway.They are not stickers,they are printed on the book.I'm thinking of making stickers with bits of the original cover to hide the yoke....!Maybe a bit complexe.
