This year when choosing a location for Spring Break, we specifically wanted something south and warm. With Greenville County’s Spring Break being a tad bit earlier this year, we wanted to ensure we would be able to enjoy the beach and some sunshine. We had previously heard good things about Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, Bahamas, so when we founds out some of our friends were going, we were excited to join. We had visited Nassau a few years ago to stay at Atlantis with the boys with a couple other families and had a blast. We thought with Bennett only being 1 year old, and the boys at ages almost ..read more

Hola! I always try to post a blog recap of the trips we take, mainly because it’s a helpful reference for me, and hopefully others too! This Puerto Rico trip was not planned out well, as it was honestly a super last minute change for our adults only vacation, but ended up being perfect. We were initially supposed to go to Scrub Island in the BVIs, but unfortunately they were hit with a Covid spike, and coincidentally a curfew and lockdown. Therefore, we quickly pivoted, and 4 days prior to our trip we changed the destination to Puerto Rico. One of the biggest pros of PR is that since it’s US t ..read more

Bennett may be my 3rd child, and you would think I would have tons of stuff sitting around from my 1st two, but you are wrong. We kind of thought we were done, and I was sick of hoarding and storing ALL the baby things that were years old, so I sold and donated it all. However, so many things have changed since I had the boys and there are all kinds of products that didn’t exist when they were babies. So, it has been fun getting new (many resale), fun things for B. It only took me 6 months to put together an “essentials” post, so we are going with essentials for the first 6 months. These are t ..read more

One of the only reasons I wasn’t too upset that I had gotten rid of everything after the boys, was that I got to start over with decorating a sweet girl’s nursery for Baby Bennett. Surprisingly I still had the black Jenny Lind crib from the boys’ nurseries, but that was it, so I was starting from scratch, and it was fun!
My initial vision for her nursery was slightly muted with soft colors, think blush, clay, soft tans and grays. But that all changed when I saw these Kim Hassold pillows. They were the very first item I bought for her nursery and they set the tone for a colorful, fun room for m ..read more

Newborn photo shoots can be stressful for the whole family. Getting yourself ready is a task in itself with a newborn and then add in getting other children ready and happy to cooperate. It can be quite exhausting, but they are by far worth it, and our photographer always makes us a little more at ease with flexibility and a reshoot guarantee. We have had our family photos done by Wonderlight Photography at least once a year, starting with Grayson’s newborn photos back in January 2016. As much as I like to try new things and explore new people, when it comes to photographers, hair, nails, etc ..read more

It’s been a minute since I’ve packed for Labor & Delivery at the hospital. Grayson is almost 5, so A LOT of things have changed in the past 5 years regarding pregnancy and baby recommendations and needs. However, this list is something that I don’t think changes much, even with COVID-19 throwing a wrench in things this year. Fortunately and unfortunately, visitors aren’t allowed in the hospital, so you don’t really have to worry about “looking decent” unless you want to for pictures (which obviously I do…haha) but I also feel like feeling decent is more important and feeling clean and putt ..read more

Honestly, I just haven’t felt like pregnancy has been very glamorous this go-around and haven’t felt like sharing much. I always wished I would have started this blog before when I was pregnant with the boys because I am typically an open book and love to share real life with you. I love to share my outfits and shopping deals and my workouts and what I like to eat, etc… but I just feel like coronavirus/quarantine has kinda sucked the fun out of that (haha)! With life so crazy and at least 1 kid home with me everyday, I hardly find myself showering and getting ready, unless I am going out for d ..read more

Back in the Fall, both of my boys started showing a little more interest in riding their bikes, as so many of their friends on the street are older and cruise around the cul-de-sac for hours. My oldest, Crawford, had been very confident riding his bike with training wheels for awhile, but he is my hesitant and cautious child, and so he had been with removing those training wheels. Grayson had followed suit and loved to ride his bike with training wheels around with his brother, but preferred his scooter that he had mastered. Both bikes they had were great quality bikes from outdoor stores and ..read more

Hey! It’s me! I’m back. Holy cow, it’s been a while. Between the holidays, this little surprise, a long 1st trimester, and the beginning of a long home quarantine, the blog has taken a little bit of a back seat to life. However, I am going to try and get back into the groove of sharing all things I love….now including, baby and pregnancy. This blog didn’t exist when I was pregnant with my boys or when they were small babies, so I’m super excited to document and share with you all along this journey…as I take it for the 3rd time!
If you would have asked us approximately 3-6 months ago if we wer ..read more

I intended on posting this gift guides WEEKS ago, but things got busy! So here we are, less than 2 weeks away from Christmas and here you go. My personal wish list and some of my favorite things. Honestly, so many of these work for any woman (and in some cases man) in your life, from your sister, to best friend, and even mother in law included.
Weezie Towels: my bedroom just got a little upgrade, now it’s time for my bathroom to get a little love. First off, these makeup towels make the cutest gifts, but I really want a set of their fresh white towels for my bathroom. Love this starter pack.
