Something about him losing his ability to speak normally. I hope ultimately he’s okay and it’s nothing serious, but on the other hand it’ll be lovely to never have to listen to this blatant homer talking crap about Montreal ..read more

Should Houle be brought back?
HF Boards » Montreal Canadiens
by Le Barron de HF

Sorry mods if this doesn't deserve its own thread, could be merged with Laval thread. In your opinion, should Houle be brought back as Head Coach of the Rocket next year? PROS: - Most call-ups have fit like a glove when being called up, seems to teach the MSL's system fairly well. - Prospects for the most part have improved (Struble, Xhekaj, Mailloux, Barron, Simoneau, RHP) - You know what you're getting with him; is it a good idea to gamble on a new candidate with the upcoming prospects... Official 2024 HFHabs Mock NHL Draft (Round Six)

Ok, I usually hold an Early Bird draft a day after Trade Deadline, but the deadline was really late this year, and I was super busy. I figured just go right into the Official HFHabs draft. As far as options in trades go, they'll only be approved if the option already exists. For instance, a second turning into a 1st if a team makes final four is a 2nd. For an option that states team gets a 2nd instead of a 3rd if they make the playoffs will be a 2nd if that team is in a playoff spot. I... Read more ..read more

A Tribute to me!

I've been here for years and never once created a thread. So for my first (and probably only thread). I figured it was time to start a thread "ALL ABOUT ME". Add in the fact that I'm bored as hell and I've been left without adult supervision. Plus I've been told recently that I'm a bit of an attention whore. I guess nothing will prove that point more than starting my own tribute thread. So here's to all of you for all the good times you've provided. But more importantly, here's to me... Thought Pierre Dagenais was worth a shout out for his incredible contributions to our franchise over 2 seasons: Drafted TWICE, something none of the top 10 scorers of all time have ever been able to reproduce Played the equivalent of a full season with the team, leaving room for younger players to develop Won best drinker at Chez Paré twice (2004, 2005) Could barely skate but was somehow elite in shootouts?? Partially coached the Montreal Canadiens (told Koivu nice shot... Read more ..read more

Summer free skate / Baton-rondelle on south shore

Hey everyone, Was wondering if anyone knew which arenas offer free skates on the south shore during summer. I was hoping the CN complex as I saw they have generous unsupervised hours until May. I know Isatis has stick-pucks (Baton-rondelle), but was looking to have a list of places as I've been having trouble finding them before the season is officially over ..read more

What is the team's biggest roadblock to make the playoffs next season?

Hello all, I would say this year was a success all things considered as far as the rebuild is concerned. In your opinion, if you had to choose 1 thing out the following, what represents the biggest roadblock or what needs to improve the most in order for the Habs to make the playoffs? a) Continuous improvement of the special teams: 27th for PP as of today & 24h for PK. b) Improved secondary scoring (26th for Goals For, 6 players on pace for 50+ points, not much else after) c) Defense... Sadly, one of these rivals has to win. Which one do you hate less? Apologies to my friend and Bruins fan, @rfournier103, but I'm reluctantly going with Toronto. Your Bruins have had their egos stroked quite enough ..read more
