A bicyclist died after getting hit by an SUV in south Oxnard Friday evening in a hit-and-run incident, authorities said. The crash was reported shortly after 6 p.m. near Saviers and Pleasant Valley roads, according to the Oxnard Police Department. The bike rider, Youssef Anis Salama, a 33-year old Oxnard resident, had been riding southbound on Saviers Road in the northbound bike lane, police said in a news release.
