Hi Im looking to use a P/P pot for a polarity switch for my EMG 81 bridge pickup. My first question is, will it do fine to just switch the ground and signal wires? I know one can do that on some pickups, but not on others. If that doesnt work, I've been looking into using a transistor to flip polarity, inspired by Fishmans phase inverter (cannot submit link since this is my first post). The gear is labeled with a brand that is today well known (in other genre than Metal of course) but at the time as these guitars are built nobody knew about this brand.
