2002 Martin OM-18V for sale. I played through about a dozen Martin OMs and OM-18 style builds from small shop builders a few years back, when this guitar nearly fell into my lap. It blew me away. I've played a number of these over the years, but this one has opened up at a level I haven't really experienced in a modern Martin. It's the best sounding OM-18V I've come in contact with.
It was definitely a primary working guitar before I took ownership, with natural play wear throughout. There's evidence of an old soundhole pickup and various small nicks, dings, and scuffs. Overall, however, it's ..read more

I got a couple of sets to try on my guitars. My Collings likes them a lot. They are not as bright as the DNB. The two Martins like them as well. They are definitely lower tension even though they are an in-between gauge. The 25 is less tension than the Dadarrio pB 24..I know because I replaced it in the same set. I had to increase the relief a touch for those Martins because I was having mediums on them and liking them a lot. I lowered my action to try to get the big ropes to work...and they did. I think I still like a lighter gauge better. It's either this string or the "True Medium" Gauge fo ..read more

I picked up this Recording King Swamp Dog parlor distressed a few months back and I must say I have really enjoyed it. It is a round neck. I have played a good bit of slide guitar over the years but had never owned a resonator until I got this one. It really fits the bill, and is also good for strumming and finger style. It’s a fun porch guitar.
For its size, it does resonate well and has an authentic sound. It is also noticeably heavy. I was surprised by the weight! No matter, though. I’m fairly strong and can deal with it.
I can only imagine what some of you may have. Let’s see what types ..read more

On a recent med thread ; I thought I 'd ask another question. After any of my Doctors visits ,I get an email and a text asking to rate us! I did do a few but then they bombard you with these! Anybody else get these? I have complained about it but it's like "trying to call your Docs office on the phone"!! Ya never talk to a human ..read more

So it’s guitar time again and this year I managed to find a USA made guild d40e.
I wasn’t looking a guild in all honesty but I ended up stumbled over a video for a guild d40 and I honestly was blown away from what I was hearing and later on found an actual video of the guitar I bought after talking the owner down a substantial amount and it got sent off today today so now to wait for it ..read more
