How's it going, looking for an excellent condition PRS Tonare Grand, and was wondering if anyone in the AGF community is willing to part with one. I recently saw one for sale, but I think the asking price vs condition is out of alignment. Looking for Adi top cocobolo B/S version. Not looking for the cutaway version, cash ready to go for the right guitar. Cheers :up ..read more

Got a used 2023 50’s reissue LG2 off Reverb. The action is good at .090 E and .070 e. Saddle is very tall IMO. It’s right at 1/4” above bridge and break angle seems high. I read a lot of old threads today but thought I’d post one on my specific case. String height above top is about 7/16”. It plays very well I guess I’m just concerned with stress on the bridge. I’d feel better if it had the belly up bridge ..read more

Plays like a dream with no difference I can really tell. Maybe I lucked out but I had to order it and it checks all the boxes. Lol. I tried a lot of guitars until I gambled and custom built one with the SS and Cutaway to get the Martin tone.https://share.icloud.com/photos/07cy...h63UjRHNclMKXA ..read more

Which Vocal Mic?

Looking for a good vocal mic that is under $200.00. This is for use in a 6 piece Folk/Grass Band. I sing Second Tenor and want a rich/full sounding mic that I can use for lead vocals and and also be able to back off several inches for harmony vocals, without dropping off. So far a Beat 58 has been my first choice but what are other options from other companies like Sennheiser? Condenser mics are not an option ..read more

This is always one of the first songs I try on a new guitar. My version is a little more down beat than Gordon Lightfoot but I try to do it justice. Thanks for listening. Recorded into a zoom recorder, one track one take. Comp & reverb added (garageband). Here’s the new 12 String - Guild F512E, rosewood back and sides, spruce top ..read more

Finally took the plunge after seeing the favorable reviews over the past year. I have a new guitar and a new-ish guitar. Hoping the TT makes a noticeable difference with both. We shall see. First up is a new TaylorCustom GA in Maple/Sitka. The guitar defied my opinion of maple guitars. It sounds warm with amazing sustain but is lacking in volume ..read more
