According to the BBC both sites have announced that less than 10of staff will be made redundant, it does not say what staff The cause of the redundancies is due to massive increase in energy prices. It looks like common cranes in Europe are getting hit big by HPAI H5N1. They accumulated in high number (200.000) at their migration stop-over site in Hortobágy NP in Hungary in October and November. And there large number of birds probably got infected by bird flu and now they started to die.
