Hello all, Some of you may know that I am a 15 year old child so am often restricted by visiting zoos when I'm travelling by having to do certain things with my parents and brother that I find boring. So I have been wondering whether I would be allowed to visit a zoo by myself. I would be dropped off by my parents but would go into the zoo and go around the zoo by myself then be picked up by my parents at the end of the day. Does anyone know what the rules would be on this. Is it legal for... Zoo visiting as an unaccompanied child ..read more

Hello, although I have been reading interesting news for a long time now, I am now a new member of your community. Since I have been writing an extensive history of international zoos and aquariums privately for more than 50 years, I am, of course, very interested in the development of these zoos. The zoos and aquariums in China in particular are enjoying an enormous boom. Lately interesting facts have been published again and again. but from my point of view, there is still too little... This is just a bit of fun to judge the general consensus on the best enclosure for Indian Rhinoceroses in the UK. I have added a few photos from the gallery to make it easier for members to compare the different exhibits. If anyone wants to make an argument for a particular enclosure, please feel free to do so. Also, I would encourage people to list the enclosures in order of what they think is best. If there are any outdated photos, collections that no longer hold them or people have... Here in America, the ones I can think of most off the top of my head are Austin and Las Vegas. For the UK (I've never been there, so I'm just guessing based on what I've seen online), neither Liverpool nor Manchester have a city zoo but Chester Zoo is the de facto city zoo for both (once again, I'm just making an educated guess, so Brits feel free to correct me if I got this completely wrong.) Any other big cities without a quality zoo ..read more

after recently seeing a family's collection of Mold-A-Ramas they have collected from Minnesota, Illinois, and Wisconsin, and knowing that I have a smaller (4 or 5) figurine collection myself, I began to wonder what places in the United States, Specifically zoos have that currently mold-a-ramas. while looking at older posts I kept hearing that some zoos used to have them, but I do not care about them, I care about what zoos have now. after looking at the official website It has come to my...
