After being a PSN subscriber since launch day of the PS4, as of December 4th I am no longer subscribing. The cost has crept up over time and has now reached £60, which I feel is too much for a few random games each month and online play. I've googled and asked around and keep getting different answers. I have Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk PS4 versions, then in the last year or so the PS5 upgrades were made available, so on my console I see both versions of each PS4 and 5. I want to clear up some space by deleting the PS4 versions of both games. I've been told/found if you do you'll delete the whole game, since supposedly the PS5 versions are just an overwrite of the PS4 versions. I've also heard that deleting the PS4 versions ifs... So I finally finished off the Mass Effect Trilogy Legendary Edition. I played the original on PS3 and got to the last mission and my hard drive died. So many years later, ie like 2 months ago, I decided to try playing again since I had pretty forgotten everything. Which in hindsight wasn't too hard since I'm a senior citizen casual gamer. Was interested in this game after seeing the trailer. Thought it would be perfect for senior citizen casual gamers like me (unlike that Spiderman 2 fiasco). Well much to my chagrin, the demo/prologue was boring and uneventful. Basically a walking simulator but weird. No reaction by the girl to the swamp in her living room. Over the years I've gone from someone who would sample a game and mostly give up at some point to someone who will normally complete every game they start. The only exception to this (and it has been very rare), is when I find a game boring (probably 2 instances of this in the last 100 I've played).
