I recenty came across a superstition believing, enclosing a pair of shoes from a particular person in a house wall was a way to protect them from an evil spirit. I had never heard of such practice, mind you spiritualism is definitely a weakeness in my education. My wife was pretty emotional / upset last night when she finally told me about something that happened last week late one night. We had a couple of hail storms in late march this year that tore up the roof on my house.  Insurance paid for the new roof and it was done last month.  Having a nice new roof has put me into the mode of time to start fixing things on and around the house.  I bought a pressure washer a week ago and started working on my driveway.  The driveway / house is 23 years old and the driveway was sealed once around 2005.  It is an asphalt type driveway and has a BUNCH of cracks in it.  The driveway is between 30-40 yards long.  I fina ..read more
