I'm looking to talk to e-commerce sellers with multi-channel and/or cross-border approaches. A few months ago, we started building a platform to make life easier for international and cross-channel sellers. Obviously, there are many ways of doing things, and I'm hoping some of you want to share your experiences with international shipping, multi-channel, etc. Some context: We converted a classic small-scale B2B manufacturer to a proper multi-channel, cross-border seller a few years ago... Liability when goods are shipped to a freight forwarder?

We have a number of overseas customers who sell multiple brands and they often use a consolidation service to save on shipping costs. They pay for us to deliver to said freight forwarder who then repacks our goods with other goods and then on ship to the overseas customer. We have had a couple of instances where our courier has miss delivered the shipment and this has only been noticed as much as 3 months afterwards when the consolidated shipment arrives at the end customer. Totally get... Read more ..read more

I don't need any ecommerce. Currently use Wix with a 3 year plan coming to an end this year. They originally charged £7 a month but this will go up to £16 a month, We have a fairly static website. Change the images on it periodically. Nothing too fancy. We use Facebook for our regular news and updates. Will probably stay with Wix as it's there and works. I used their tools to build the current website as I'm not too technical. They have a what you see is what you get type interface to... Read more ..read more

Create A Website To Fill In A Document

I need to create a website that subscribers can log into and, via a template, create a document. In its basic form, it would be a simple template with gaps that the subscriber fills out (name, address etc). Extended, I would also like to give the user the ability to select and add in additional content (paragraphs, pages, addendums etc). I assume this could be done using a form system or WP and form builder plugin, but does anyone have any thoughts on how it could be built ..read more

Following on from my other thread about buying a drop-shipping business, The seller has suggested https://greenlightforsite.com/ which looks a bit armature to be honest. On the plus side, they may allow me to pay by credit card , which would give me some peace of mind (even if I have to pay a fee). Does anyone have any experience of using these or any other escrow service? Or any advice in general about buying a site or drop-shipping business? I'm thinking things like non-compete... Need help to restore traffic to my site

Could the practice of republishing articles from my WordPress site on Medium potentially lead to a notable decline in traffic, evidenced by a more than 40% decrease in site visits? Despite maintaining favorable scores on performance metrics such as Pingdom and PageSpeed, I don't know what exactly dropped my website traffic. Any insights or suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ..read more

Hiya, I've been offered a site that runs oscommerce & the website scores terribly on page speed test and not built on wordpress from what I can see, All initially off-putting, but it seems to be profitable. I'm thinking move the site to wordpress, onto a better ecommerce platform and faster server too and basically improve the site/conversions/sales/SEO etc. It comes with the customer database etc, so I was thinking do all of the above and then send a discount code to all past buyers as... I'm in the early states of research, but could do with some pointers, help and advice. I have a company in the UK, selling our own brand products. We ship 98% to the UK. Pre covid this was 85%. Although shipping individual items to the USa was expensive pre covid, since covid its ridiculous expensive. This is obviously very off-putting to customers in the USA. We have a very high demand from USA customers. I wish to take advantage of this via shipping in bulk to a USA warehouse. Our products... Read more ..read more
