Adams County Fire in Colorado is hiring entry level and lateral Firefighter/paramedics.
Pay range-
$86,751 to $119,657.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 21 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Paramedic certification and advanced life support qualifications.
Valid Colorado driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Meeting the physical and linguistic requirements for the role.

I’m looking for some guidance with the SAFER scoring process.
We applied last year and were turned down. I spoke with the regional rep and was told we didn’t make it past the pre-scoring process.
I assume that means we were turned down based on our data and demographics and not the narrative.

The filing period Is currently Scheduled for 06/24/24 - 08/09/24
You must be under 29 years old before the Beginning of the Filing period in order to apply.

I was hoping someone can give me a little advice. I just took my FF I/II and got my results as failed. I am so upset! But, I am not giving up! Can anyone please give me advice on where you studied from? I know a lot of people are saying the IFSTA app and a few book options, how did you study and what the the best way to study from these?

I finally hit submit on the last of my applications. Time now to sit around and wonder when we will hear. That and work through the outstanding ones.
I must say that I am now missing the old system where when you submitted, you knew how many other applications were out there. Now that they are all grouped together, you just know the total number instead of being broken down by vehicle, operations, and regional ..read more

Any advice for figuring out which status to select? My department covers 3 sq miles with a population of 9500. We are 100% hydranted. We are roughly 70% residential, 20% commercial and 5% open space (none of it agricultural).
I've filed as suburban in the past but was told we might count as rural which might explain why our equipment applications were never funded ..read more
