In a game that was defined by streaks, FC Cincinnati was more interested in breaking them than keeping them going. Heading into the game, Atlanta United were unbeaten at home in 2024 and had been unbeaten in their last nine games on turf.  Those were all broken with FCC coming away with a 2-1 victory in Atlanta. Last week, I got up off the canvas and bounced back with an even week. I felt very strongly that Columbus wouldn’t win in Salt Lake City. Their scoreless draw meant our bet was voided. Charlotte came away with a win in a high-scoring contest. We’re heading into Matchday 10, nearly a third of the season gone, and we’re still learning about these teams each week. FC Cincinnati was unable to equalize a second one-goal deficit following the game-winning goal by Ariel Lassiter to make the scoreline 2-1 in favor of CF Montreal. This is the team’s first losing streak since May 2022. The beginning of the match was weighted heavily in favor of the home side.
