With that, most of us aren’t thinking of black or white, or any other descriptive. In the moment, we are solely focused on what we want and where we can find it. With that being said, when people need groceries, they go to the nearest Pathmark, (which is where I’m from in New Jersey), Safeway, or Kroger, with no regard to who owns the store. In the Black community, we don’t focus on creating community-anchored businesses. Example ..read more

#MorningMotivation: Let it Work!

You will not reap the harvest the same day you plant the seed. You must give it time, you must allow it to work. A seed will produce its crop, if it is properly cared for. While the harvest may seem to take a while it is still not the time for you to bury yourself with your seed. Let it work. Water it. Nurture it. Take care of it. And in due season you will reap your harvest. For more inspiration, follow J Haleem @iamjhaleem ..read more
