HEY READER, I have been grappling lately with this notion of self-love and unconditionally loving myself. Recently I came to the conclusion that I do, and I don’t unconditionally love myself, Here is why….. The external projected self is already a profile of conditions, attachments, and projections. For example, societal norms, beauty standards, cultural norms, definitions of success, fears, triumphs, relationships, and the list goes on. Through this lens, love is a spectrum sliding selective scale dissected and singled out depending on what feeds its bank. This love only trickles from personh ..read more

I have been grappling lately with this notion of self love and unconditionally loving myself. Recently I came to the conclusion that I do and I don’t unconditionally love myself Here is why… The external projected self is already a profile of conditions. For example societal norms, beauty standards, cultural norms, definitions of success, projections, fears, triumphs, relationships, and the list goes on. I guess one could say even a profile of attatchements as well. Where as the observer, the true self is love itself. There is no needing love, trying to feel love, trying to love, blocks to rec ..read more

The journey begins when you realize there is no beginning or ending. The journey begins when you realize that there is no entry or exit point. The journey begins when you realize the journey is. The journey begins when you realize that the journey that has been, is , and will be,  is  YOU.  and if you responded with  I AM.  The journey has begun.  ..read more

The Big Picture #3

by melanatedmentalism

From the big picture there is no need to isolate or differentiate things into single things thus making them isolated false wholes of perception. The big picture is 1 whole. From the big picture, you see that everything is interconnected. One who thinks in separation thinks that what they cause only affects a single target… quite the contrary: what one does affects the whole, even though there is individuality (non-western definition) because two things cannot occupy the same space at once, yet there is an occupation of the one space two-gether. All two really is (it’s very mental but ponder t ..read more

The Big Picture #2.

The Big picture is one sight, all seeing if you will, therefore it is unseen because it itself is sight. If the big picture is sight then what is seen? Everything and Nothing is seen. If there is no thing then how can no-thing be seen? Because No-thing implies the absence of thing yet is a recognition of thing therefore it is known when there is no-thing ..read more

THE BIG PICTURE!

(Ed.1) THIS ONE WILL BE SHORT AND SWEET! How my brain defines the big picture The big picture is not a concept, it cannot be defined nor can it be quantified. The big picture isn’t a focal point. It isn’t needing, wanting, desiring, longing, lacking, it is simply experiencing being. Why the big picture? The big picture is and is beyond the why, and the why not. Clarification. The big picture isn’t a state of fixation. The big picture doesn’t move in separation or isolation. Because of this there is no single event that would draw the attention because it cant be added to or subtracted from. On ..read more

What if you were to LET GO?

The fact of the matter is that living in control (the way we see it– through the lens of the material) is a false sense of being. I’ll say it loud for the people in the back: IT’S NOT REAL! As much as you think you are in control, you aren’t. The ego based paradigm in which we currently live– the veil that is ignorance is a flawed false constant…meaning it doesn’t have to exist! It doesn’t have to be this way.* I, for one, have a hard time with worrying and stressing over anything and everything. I appreciate you coming along with me on this spiritual journey because the river runs wide and t ..read more

5 ways to LET GO

Before we start this process of letting go, let’s take a moment and mentally remove ourselves from any relationship we have with other people, ideas we uphold based upon that relationship, and the pedestal that we put the person or relationship on. Don’t even think about those external things. Tame Time. We have made time a wolf in sheep’s clothing, but it doesn’t have to be. It can become our fluffy pet that shows us consistent and unconditional love; that is always there waiting for us to come back home to give us more love! Time is an eternal happening in the unchanging and vast universe ..read more

One of the older uses for the word PATIENCE based on the makeup of its word parts, was simply to EXPERIENCE! …..WHAT……? THEN WHY THE lOWERSELF (OMG I LOVE THIS AS NEW SLUR) IS IT DEFINED NOW ACCORDING TO THE CAMBRIDGE DICTIONARY.. “the ability to wait, or to  doing something despite difficulties, or to suffer without complaining or becoming annoyed:” I SAY…..BURN IT DOWN! Of course using the all consuming solar fire where my seekers at? FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK! I am a very impatient person and working on that aspect of mysel ..read more

Attachments and Deconstruction (not Destruction): The TOWER, BABY!!

When humans began to fix their mind completely on the external, this led to a false sense of desire. This desire created the state of illusory lack and this turned our hearts away from the god-self within to be focused and obsessed with the outer-self, manifesting this outer-self into being the only REAL-ITY that we see (“ITY” meaning the state of being something). Focusing our gaze upon the outer meant that we would go from infinite to finite, and become attached to living life through the senses which is fleeting. It makes sense that we (humanity) have gotten so far off track, and that ..read more
