As I gaze out the window overlooking a beautiful meadow, I'm glistening from ear to ear. I'm glowing. It could be my highlight from my makeup or just the thought of the day ahead. Gathered around me is my beautiful bridal party. They are praying over me and for my future. My mother then helps me step into this astonishing white gown. Honestly, I don't really know where to start building my new normal. Life went from hearing “I love you” everyday to silence… It’s… weird, or shall I say “different from the norm“. When grief hits, it hits you like a ton of bricks! It can strike at any time, anywhere, and around anybody. When sadness engulfs your body, you have no way of holding back.
