As the crew journey from Dar es Salaam, they take over a 2-hour ferry ride to Zanzibar. BTW, the ferry ride would run you about $35. Bring cash, most places are cardless, and you will need to visit some of the limited ATMs on the island if you don't have cash. They reviewed the Airbnb, which was on the beach, and included the option for a private chef, who cooked for them on one of the nights they stayed in Zanzibar.
