Clippers 131, Kings 117: Ban Back to Backs
The Kings Herald

Your undefeated Group C champions didn’t have much time to celebrate their big win from last night as they quickly had to lace them up again to host the Los Angeles Clippers. It’s a singular sample size, but back to back scenarios have not been kind to the Kings so far this season. Just last week, they suffered their worst loss of the season by dropping dead to the Pelicans by 36 points on the tail end of their first back to back. Tonight felt like it had the potential to go either way. Either the Kings would use their momentum from their huge win against the Warriors to propel them past the n ..read more

Malik Monk went to the bank on last second shot for the win over the Warriors
The Kings Herald

Let’s all watch it again, shall we? With 13.6 seconds left and down 1 to the Golden State Warriors, Malik Monk dribbled into the corner against Andrew Wiggins. After a few isolation dribbles he took off to the center of the paint. Wiggins stayed with him and got a hand up on the shot, which Monk threw up off one foot while fading back – one foot, while fading back! And this was after trying to stop a dime…with one foot. The ball hits the backboard square in the middle and drops into the basket. The go ahead bucket would seal the deal for the 124-123 win and finally give the Kings the victory ..read more

Kings 124, Warriors 123: MALIK MONK

The inaugural In-Season Tournament gave us a spicy one tonight, folks. Kings. Warriors. Draymond Green making yet another dramatic return from yet another earned suspension for yet another display of foolery. My desire for a Kings’ win couldn’t be higher for a late November game. The Kings and Warriors, meeting for the third time so far this season, entered tonight’s matchup with the highest stakes since their playoff matchup back in April, both hoping to secure their advancement to the knock out stage of the IST. Entering the game, there were many scenarios that could result in the Kings bein ..read more

Kings vs. Warriors Preview and Predictions: For all the In-Season marbles
The Kings Herald

The Kings are back home after a 4-2 road trip and who should they play but the Golden State Warriors for what feels like the millionth time this year. Tonight’s the final game of the In-Season Tournament Group Play, and there’s a lot on the line. Should the Kings win, they’ll advance to the knockout stages, but if they lose they could be bumped completely. And of course this is the first game back from suspension for Draymond Green, and it’s a nationally televised game so this should be a fun one with a playoff-like atmosphere. Let’s talk Kings basketball! When: Tuesday, November 28th, 7:00 PM ..read more

The Kings have secured a strong start to the season despite multiple early obstacles
The Kings Herald

The Sacramento Kings are 15 games into their season, and sitting comfortably at a 9-6 record, good for sixth in the Western Conference standings. It’s early enough in the season that these standings will continue to fluctuate, and far too early for any victory laps. And yet I find I funny how little fanfare there is about the Kings start to the season. Consider for a moment how many factors the Kings have had against them this season. Of Sacramento’s 15 games, 10 have been on the road. The Kings have played 5 games without De’Aaron Fox. The Kings have also had missed games from Kevin Huerter ..read more
