We are going to attempt to answer this making some assumptions about you. Firstly, we are going to assume that we are talking for a “traditional ceremony and reception” wedding. What is a reasonable price for a wedding photographer? This is a question that we see asked A LOT. For most people, there are 2 main things that are thought about when determining whether to hire a photographer (or any other wedding service for that matter) - quality and price. And in the main, the two things go hand in hand. The better the quality, the higher the price. However, a word of caution - being an expensive photographer doesn’t automatically make you a good photographer. Cost of an Edinburgh Wedding Photographer? Cornhill Castle Wedding Photography This love story has a background which includes an appearance on Netflix’s Queer Eye as well as a move of newly 6000 miles. Kan is from Japan and met Tom whilst studying in the UK and they have been together since. They have been having a long distance relationship but COVID meant that they were unable to see each other for over a year. Unable to bear being apart for any longer, they decided to get married at the earliest opportunity. Amy and Andy and their wee boy Vinnie travelled from the midlands all the way to Torridon for an absolute dream elopement. They rented a fantastic little self catering cottage (complete with hot tub) and despite a few (minor) hiccups with Royal Mail not delivering the suit on time, they had this amazing, chilled out pre-wedding morning which we were delighted to capture for them After a couple of hours of coffee and sausages, we headed out to Loch Clair for their ceremony where we met their humanist, Alison. From here, we walked on down to find a suitable spot - but to be honest - where wouldn ..read more

Edinburgh Wedding - Lily and Emil This was one of those weddings where things happened very quickly. Lily rang me to see if I had availability on their wedding day in just a few weeks time. As we were still in the Covid restriction-era I fortunately was able to accommodate. Lily and Emil had a Greek Orthodox wedding. This was actually a type of wedding that I have never photographed before so I was quite excited. When you have been doing this for a number of years, any opportunity to see something new is always interesting. The service was beautiful - chanting and prayers interjected with much ..read more
