I finished reading this last night before going to bed. This book was recommended to me by another blogger a few years ago and I finally got around to reading it. It’s not normally the kind of book I normally read but I took a chance reading it because I trusted the person who recommended it to me. The book follows a boy named Santiago who is ambitious enough to go travel so he starts off by traveling with his sheep. I finally finished reading this one. I like horror and I happen to like books that a bunch of short stories in them. This has both of those. However, I think this is made for younger audiences……like maybe around the 10 to 12 year olds. The book was still good, mind you. I did enjoy it. This just might be one of those books that you let your kids read if they aren’t easily scared. Or maybe this can be one of those books that you read with your kids. I had to go out and run a couple of errands yesterday on my day off. While I was out, I got to spend a little time at my local book store getting some new material to read. I always love to spend a little “me” time at the book store because a) I get to find some new stuff to read and b) I get to have fun looking for new stuff to read. Do you ever find yourself stuck in a genre/series/author? Do you only read books from a specific genre/series/author? If so, why? Are you happy reading books from that genre/series/author? If not, what have you found that works to get yourself unstuck?
