I'm Malorie, a 20-something-year-old living in Asheville, North Carolina. I started blogging because writing and organizing my thoughts into something tangible helps me un-clutter my mind. Also, the idea of sharing my experiences with others seemed appealing to me if I can help or inspire someone to do something that will change their life for the better, then it's worth it.

What do I mean by New Era? A New Era to me means we are going through a positive mindset shift where we love ourselves, we prioritize ourselves , and we leave behind what is no longer serving us. Not only that, but we are willing and ready to do what we need to do to step into our power. New Era is where we have set a foundation of wellness and love for ourselves, we’ve put in the hard work and are now ready to fully enjoy our efforts and opportunities.

Real talk, there's another side to this feeling of excitement and celebration towards other ladies. I'd rather not admit it, but I can't help but wonder if other women feel like this too?
Sometimes when I'm scrolling social media or hear about others in my community, I feel insecure and inadequate. Almost like my accomplishments, hobbies, and who I am just doesn't compare. That I'm behind, I don't have enough money, I'm not young enough, I'm not creative enough, I'm not passionate enough.. the list goes on.
